WATER RECLAMATION DIVISION
TEMPORARY JOB OPPORTUNITIES

Temporary Grounds Maintenance. $9.50 hourly. 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday. Position duration approximately six months. Duties include mowing (using commercial, tractor, and push mowers), trimming, landscaping, and irrigation repair. Must possess valid driver’s license and be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Steel-toed boots required.

Temporary Collection Technician. $9.50 hourly. 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday. Two positions available. Position duration approximately six months or nine months. Duties include maintenance of sanitary sewer system including jetting, root cutting, cleaning storm inlets, handling 6-inch diameter hoses, assisting with television inspections, smoke and dye testing, and sewer flow monitoring. Must possess valid driver’s license and be able to lift and carry 35 lbs. Steel-toed boots required.

STREET DEPARTMENT
TEMPORARY LABORERS

Temporary Laborers. Duties include street maintenance and equipment operation. Must be able to obtain Commercial Driver's License (CDL). $10.30 per hour if possess CDL; $9.50 per hour until CDL obtained (must have passed written portion of CDL exam).

LIGHT & POWER DIVISION
TEMPORARY JOB OPPORTUNITIES

Temporary Position Line Worker. This position is for a line worker helper. Duties require working with the construction and maintenance of street lights and utility power lines. This is a temporary, full-time position (40 hours per week).

Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license. Wage is $10.00 - $12.00 per hour depending on if applicant has a CDL license and has attended a Line Worker training program. 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
