Sunday, November 15, 2009 is America Recycles Day. In honor of the event, the City is releasing its first-ever 2010 Residential Guide to Sustainability. Check out what the City of Sioux Falls is doing to help its residents live a more sustainable lifestyle.
This is a year-round program and residents are welcome to recycle electronics at the facility during normal hours of operation: Tuesday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
The City of Sioux Falls Public Works Landfill Division operates and manages the Sioux Falls Regional Sanitary Landfill, the Household Hazardous Waste Facility, the Leading Green Program and Sustainability and Recycling Initiatives.
