There are currently 30 waste haulers providing services to residential customers that are licensed by the Sioux Falls Regional Sanitary Landfill.
In order to use the Sioux Falls Landfill, the City requires these haulers to ease the burden on the landfill and increase sustainability by meeting a recycling goal.
Improperly disposed of needles, phamaceuticals and thermometers can pose serious health hazards to the public, garbage haulers, and City landfill and wastewater employees.
