26th Street Improvements

26th Street from Berkshire to Larkspur Avenue will be totally reconstructed and widened to four lanes this year. A left turn lane will be added at the Valley View intersection. From Larkspur to Sertoma Avenue, 26th Street will undergo an asphalt mill and overlay. This project continues is completed and open to traffic. On a separate but near by project, new 26th Street to the west of the Tea Ellis Road will be constructed to provide access to newly developing areas. This project is also nearly completed and should be open to traffic.
