Career Avenue ImprovementsCareer Avenue will undergo two separate improvements this year. On the southern end, the street will be brought up to urban standards with curb, gutter, street lights and sidewalks due to the adjacent development that is occurring. This project is continuing and Career Avenue is totally closed off to traffic. On the northern end, a new street with a roundabout will be constructed. This will be the first roundabout in the City. More information on roundabouts will be available on Channel 16 later early this summer. This project continues with paving operations. Both of these projects will totally close the street off to through traffic and drivers will be detoured to Marion Road.
