The City of Sioux Falls and South Dakota Department of Transportation are working together to construct a new interchange at Marion Road and I90 later this year. Marion Road from 60th Street North to I90 will also be improved to an urban street with the interchange project. This phase of work is scheduled for early 2009 bid letting a final completion in late 2009, pending successful property owner negotiations. The SDDOT are also be reconstructing the eastbound lanes of I90. The interstate work continues with grading and paving operations. Traffic is head to head in the westbound lanes. Various ramps will be closed at I29/I90 throughout the project and drivers are encouraged to check the SDDOT's website for more information on the closures. This project will last until November.
