This arterial street was planned to undergo an asphalt overlay this summer in conjunction with the South Dakota Department of Transportation's Interstate 90 and Interstate 229 reconstruction project. However, due to the recent STIP/TIP programming changes, this project has now been put on hold. The SDDOT is planning on programming this project back into the five year program therefore an asphalt overlay will not be performed.
