Corrosive soils have caused the need to remove and replace water main in the southwest part of the City. This is a multi year project that will improve water service to the neighborhood, reduce maintenance, and enhance our distribution system. The streets that will be impacted this year are 61st Street, Cheyenne Drive, Cheyenne Court, and 52nd Street. These streets will be totally closed to traffic and there may be times when residents will not be able to park in their driveways. The project has started with pavement removals and watermain installation.
