This project is phase two of the reconstruction of 57th Street. In 2008, MacArthur Lane to Pennbrook Avenue was reconstructed. The next phase of the project from Pennbrook Avenue to Minnesota Avenue will improve the sight distances, add sidewalk, and reconstruct the surface. 57th Street from MacArthur Lane to Pennbrook Avenue currently has minor clean up work being done along 57th Street. The segment from Pennbrook to Minnesota Avenue is under design and may begin construction in 2010, depending on final design completion.
