• CP v. “Apartment management company,” housing, national origin. Apartment manager denied CP's application because he did not have a social security number. Settled for $5,000.
• CP v. “Apartment owner,” housing, race. No probable cause found when CP alleged she was subjected to race-based harassment by a tenant within her apartment complex.  She states that upon complaining to her landlord, he told her not to worry about it, then did nothing to stop any further disparaging comments.  CP was unable to substantiate her allegations.  CP also alleges she was evicted based on race. Respondent was able to establish CP’s eviction was based on unpaid rent and noise complaints.
