Welcome to Building Services' Zoning Division

The mission of the Zoning Division is to serve the public and safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of the public by administrating and enforcing the Zoning regulations, to carry out the goals and objectives of the City Comprehensive Plan, to lessen congestion in the streets, to secure safety from fire, panic, and other dangers, to promote health and general welfare, to provide adequate light and air, to prevent the overcrowding of land, to avoid undue concentration of population, and to facilitate the adequate provision of transportation, water, sewer, schools, parks, and other public necessities.
