Christine M. Erickson (AL)

Christine began her career in public service by representing District 11 in the South Dakota House of Representatives. After serving a term in the House, she was elected as an at-large member of the Sioux Falls City Council in 2014.

A graduate from National American University and University of Sioux Falls, Christine is a small business owner and stay-at-home mom. She and her husband, Tony, are the proud parents of three boys: Anthony, Braylon, and Charlie.

Christine and Tony are members at Central Baptist Church, where they are actively involved in a small group and various volunteer positions. Christine has served at Central as the leader of a large, local MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group, which serves approximately 100 mothers within the city. She also volunteers weekly in her son’s classroom, in addition to helping coach his soccer team.
