The City of Sioux Falls has begun the process of marketing and selling the title sponsor naming rights for the new Events Center, scheduled to open in the Fall of 2014. A Request for Expression of Interest (RFEI) was issued on Friday, March 16th.

Objective

To build a quality multipurpose facility that will host sporting events, concerts, conventions, banquets, etc. and that will improve the quality of life and stimulate economic return to the citizens of Sioux Falls.

The Citizens of Sioux Falls voted to build the Events Center on November 8th, 2011.  A record turnout in the history of city elections occurred with over 40,000 citizens voting.  The vote passed with 23,284 yes votes and 16,807 no votes.
