PLA Inclusive Internship Initiative Program

Siouxland Libraries invites applicants for its Inclusive Internship Initiative (III), funded by the Public Library Association (PLA). The program is designed to introduce young people from diverse backgrounds to careers in librarianship.

Staff In-Service

All Siouxland Libraries branches will be closed the morning of Friday, April 20 for staff in-service. Normal hours will resume at 1 p.m.

Faces and Places

Faces and Places, a show by South Dakota mother and daughter artists Jonni Good and Jessie Rasche, will be featured at the Downtown Library throughout April and May. The exhibit features Good's sculptures and Rasche's paintings.

Teen Art Contest

Students in grades 6 through 12 are invited to imagine, design, and create an original work of art. Prizes will be awarded to the top entries in grades 6-8, 9-10, and 11-12. Entries must be submitted by June 1.
