Hector Curriel, local cartoonist and illustrator, will read his new book Beauford Peever’s Animal Family, and give an illustration demonstration! Hector has been working for many years as an editorial cartoonist, book illustrator, and fine artist. All ages welcome! Participants will earn 50 points for READsquared.

Shadow Puppet Show

Watch our hero Jack make his way through familiar, traditional stories using the ancient art of playing with light and shadow. Seating is first-come-first-served for individuals and families. Groups of 10 or more are asked to register in advance by calling 367-8710.
