Injury Accident with Extrication at 41st Street/I-29
At approximately 11:15 p.m. on September 2, 2013, Sioux Falls Fire Rescue was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with one person requiring extrication. Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to open the driver’s door and had the patient removed from the vehicle within four minutes of arrival. The patient was not wearing a seat belt.
Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded with 13 personnel in 3 fire trucks and 1 support vehicle.
SFFR would like to remind all citizens to wear their seat belts when operating a motor vehicle.
