Five Siouxland Libraries Branches to Host Summer Tail-Waggin’ Tutors’ Sessions

Children are often self-conscious about reading aloud in front of classmates or adults. But reading to a dog puts aside all threats of being judged and as a result, that all-important skill improves.

The popular Tail-Waggin’ Tutors program, which pairs kids and canines (trained therapy dogs), will be hosted in June by five Siouxland Libraries branches. Bone up your child’s reading skills; book a 15-minute reading session with a Tail-Waggin’ Tutor. Register by calling the library or at www.siouxlandlib.org.
