What Works Cities

The City of Sioux Falls is working to make more data available to the public with the help of What Works Cities partners. As part of the work, an Open Data Program guidance document has been drafted that provides guidelines for the City departments and employees when collecting and releasing City data.

How to participate

The public can comment on the Open Data Program guidance document through the use of an online collaboration tool called Madison. You will need to sign up for an account before you are able to comment. Your options for providing input are:

  1. Click I support this document or I oppose this document
  2. Comment on portions of the program by highlighting the word(s), clicking on the pencil, and typing in your comments
  3. Enter comments under the bold Comments heading near the bottom
