8th Street Bridge Rehabilitation and Greenway Improvements

• The contractor is working on the final punch list items for the river greenway and street lighting.

1. Road and bike trail closures and detours begin
2. Removals of the surfacing work
3. Private utility relocation
4. Construction of bridge access roads and cofferdams
5. Bridge fill removal
6. Bridge rehabilitation improvements
7. Concrete repairs along 8th Street
8. Private utility placement
9. Bridge fill placement
10. Open roadway
11. Greenway and bike trail improvements
12. Final project completion

Commuter Route Information:

• The 8th Street Bridge is fully open to traffic.
• The bike paths under the bridge on the east side and west side of the river is open.  
  
• The river is open to canoe/kayaking.
