Notice is given that the City of Sioux Falls, SD, will receive sealed bids on the following surplus real property.

The above property is located at the intersection of E. 8th St. and N. Cliff Ave. on the west side of N. Cliff Ave.
Sealed bids shall be received by the Purchasing Office, 3rd Floor, City Hall, 224 W. 9th St., P.O. Box 7402, Sioux Falls, SD 57117-7402, not later than 2 p.m., standard time on September 1, 2017. Bids shall be publicly opened and read in City Hall, 1st Floor, at 2:15 p.m. on the same day.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or draft payable to Getty Abstract and Title Company for ten (10) percent of the amount of the bid, said check or draft to be issued by either a state or national bank.
All property is sold “as is” and subject to all easements, covenants, and restrictions of record. It is expected that each bidder will inspect the property and conduct any research needed to submit a bid.
For specific land uses and restrictions on property, bidders are asked to contact the City Planning and Zoning Office and City Engineering Office.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to solicit additional bids if no acceptable bids are received and to negotiate for bids for not less than 90 percent of the appraised value.

Box 7402, Sioux Falls, SD 57117-7402, or call 605-367-8836 for information and/or request to have bid packages mailed out by the City Purchasing Office.
