Rate: $10.25 per hour

Siouxland Libraries is accepting applications for part-time openings at our Caille branch, Hartford branch, and Brandon Community Library.

Hours available:

The Caille branch position is a non-benefitted position offering hours Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5:30 p.m to 9:00 p.m., and weekend rotation every three weeks - Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m and Sunday from 12:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m.

The Hartford branch position is a non-benefitted position offering hours Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., working two out of every three Saturdays.

The Brandon Community Library position is a non-benefitted position offering hours from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. two to three afternoons per week or one evening shift per week from approximately 5:00 or 5:30 p.m to 8:00 p.m., one full Saturday per month, and one half Saturday per month.

Applicants should have good computer and customer service skills, oral and written communication skills. The selected candidate will perform general library duties including checking materials in and out, collecting fines, issuing library cards and returning materials to shelves. Assist customers using public computers, online catalog, library databases and mobile devices and locating library materials. Answer incoming calls and refer customers for other appropriate assistance. Participate in opening and closing procedures. Provide assistance in coordinating and implementing library programs and events as required. EOE.
