Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant Job Opportunities

Rate: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

The City of Sioux Falls Health Department is seeking a part-time phlebotomist/medical assistant to work in the Falls Community Health Clinic laboratories.  This position will be weekdays, 20-28 hours per week. Duties include:  phlebotomy/specimen collection, inventory control, lab test performance, cleaning and sterilization procedures, data input, organizing, cleaning and assisting clinic staff with other tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

Qualified applicants will have completed a medical assistant program and/or have one (1) year of experience in a medical office environment working with medical records, reception, and patient scheduling; or any such combination of education, experience, and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority. Phlebotomy education and training is preferred but not required. EOE.
