The City of Sioux Falls Health Department is accepting applications for a Registered Nurse. The RN will provide professional nursing care for clients in a clinic setting at Falls Community Health. Duties include working as a member of a patient care team to provide patient centered care, providing assistance to provider/clinical staff, scheduling of specialty referrals, providing patient education, administering vaccines, assisting with medication refill requests and procedures, tracking and returning patient phone calls and other clinical duties as needed. This is a non-benefitted Monday and Tuesday position with an additional day per week up to 28 hours per week based on the clinic needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
Strong candidates will possess superior customer service skills and EMR experience.
Must hold or be able to obtain State of South Dakota Board of Nursing Certificate as a registered nurse prior to hire.
Positions at the Public Health Department are subject to the CMS Covid-19 vaccination requirements.
