Data Shows the “Bright Futures” Program Works: News Conference on Tuesday

What:  News conference to announce the results of research into the Bright Futures program, which is supported with funding through the Community Development Affordable Housing Division

Bright Futures Program Participant  
Why:  A recent study conducted by the Augustana Research Institute compared five measures of well-being for homeless families who received both housing assistance and case management through the Bright Future program as compared to homeless families who received only housing assistance. Since 2011, 67 families have graduated from Bright Futures, and the study found that every $1 invested in the program yields a return of $8.36. Come to the news conference to learn more details about the program and the impact it has on our community.
