Outdoor Supervised Playgrounds Program Begins June 4

Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation has provided the Outdoor Supervised Playgrounds program since 1944. This drop-in program is designed for youth ages 7 to 12 and provides a wonderful place to be a kid. Playground staff will lead games, crafts, and special activities for the summer. Weekly themes and activity schedules will be available from the staff. This is a “low-tech, high-fun” program.

The Outdoor Supervised Playgrounds program will be offered Monday through Friday, June 4 through August 10, but will be closed on Wednesday, July 4.

During inclement weather, the program will be delayed or canceled for the day. Please be aware of this before sending children to the program. These programs are not intended as child care programs.
