Alley Closure – between Minnesota Avenue and Dakota Avenue

Beginning on Tuesday, August 27, 2019, the north end of the alley from West Eighth Street to West Ninth Street between Minnesota Avenue and Dakota Avenue will be closed for retaining wall work. The alley can still be accessed via Ninth Street.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – Eighth Street

Beginning on Thursday, August 29, 2019, the eastbound right turn lane from Eighth Street onto southbound Cliff Avenue will be closed to allow crews to perform electrical improvements.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete on the same day.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closures - Fourth Avenue

Beginning on Thursday, August 29, 2019, the inside northbound and southbound lanes on North Fourth Avenue, north of East Presentation Street, will be closed to allow construction crews to perform concrete pavement repairs. Traffic will be moved to the inside lanes as work progresses. Two lanes will be open to through traffic at all times during construction. 

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete within one week.

Lane Closures - Cliff Avenue

Beginning on Thursday August 29, 2019, northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane on South Cliff Avenue between Tenth Street and 12th Street to allow construction crews to perform concrete pavement repairs. Northbound traffic will be diverted into the middle turning lane around the work area. Southbound traffic will not be affected during construction.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete in one week.
