Lane Closure – 41st Street

Beginning on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, the outside eastbound lane of 41st Street will be closed between Larch Avenue and Marion Road to allow crews to perform concrete pavement repairs. Eastbound traffic will be maintained in the inside eastbound lane. Westbound traffic will not be affected during construction.

All work is expected to be completed within one week with favorable weather conditions.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – South Cliff Avenue

Beginning on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, the northbound lanes of South Cliff Avenue will be closed between 57th Street and 61st Street. All northbound traffic will be shifted into the two-way left turn lane.

Runge will be performing utility work and is anticipated to be completed on July 31, 2019.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

57th Street and Solberg Avenue Asphalt Milling and Paving Operations

Beginning at 7 p.m. on Wednesday July 24, 2019, asphalt milling will begin along 57th Street. The eastbound lanes of 57th Street and the south leg of the intersection will be milled in preparation of placement of a new asphalt surface. 

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday July 25, 2019, asphalt paving operations will begin to place the new driving surface on the eastbound lanes and the south leg of the intersection.

One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction on 57th Street and on Solberg Avenue during milling and paving operations. Traffic will be shifted around construction activities.

The work is anticipated to be complete by early August 2019.

Street Closure – South Duluth Avenue

Beginning on Thursday, July 25, 2019, South Duluth Avenue will be closed between 43rd Street and 49th Street.

Friessen Construction will be performing utility work and is anticipated to be completed on August 1, 2019.
