“Planning for the future of our parks and recreation system has been an engaging and rewarding process. To hear what our citizens think about the parks and recreation system has been instrumental in guiding the direction of the department for many years to come,” says Don Kearney, Director of Parks and Recreation. “This comprehensive planning process creates a vision for the future of parks and recreation and it supports our One Sioux Falls framework in a great way!”

The department also has a website for all information related to the Comprehensive Parks & Recreation System Plan which can be found at www.plansfparks.org.
