Western Avenue Open –  North of 41st Street

Beginning on Monday, June 15, 2020, South Western Avenue north of 41st Street has reopened. Traffic on Western Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction during construction at the intersection of 41st Street and Western Avenue. 

The intersection of South Western Avenue and West 41st Street is anticipated to be fully open to traffic by late fall of 2020, with some minor work into the spring of 2021.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes

Street Closure – Duluth Avenue

Beginning on Tuesday morning, June 16, 2020, South Duluth Avenue will be closed to through traffic between West 41st Street and West 43rd Street. 

Backhaus Construction will be installing new utilities.

This work is anticipated to be complete in approximately one week.
