Street Closure – Holbrook Avenue
Beginning on Monday, July 6, 2020, South Holbrook Avenue will be closed from 50th Street to 52nd Street to allow construction crews to begin work on street and utility improvements along Holbrook Avenue. Motorists should utilize Marion Road or Sertoma Avenue as alternate routes.
Work will include replacing the water main and sanitary sewer, concrete repairs, and new asphalt surfacing.
This work is anticipated to be complete in mid-to-late August.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and will want to consider alternate routes.
Street Closure - Lake Avenue
Beginning on Monday, July 6, 2020, North Lake Avenue will be closed between Fifth Street and Sixth Street for utility work being performed in the street. Improvements will include upgrading the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, and asphalt surfacing.
Weather permitting, the project is anticipated to be complete by mid-August.

Lane Closures - Minnesota Avenue
Beginning on Monday, July 6, 2020, the inside northbound lane of South Minnesota Avenue north of 57th Street will be closed to allow crews to perform concrete pavement repairs. As work progresses, the closures will move to the outside lane. One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times during construction.
Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete within one week.

Lane Closure - 26th Street
Beginning on Monday, July 13, 2020, the outside eastbound lane of East 26th Street between South Marday Avenue and South Stephen Avenue will be closed for the replacement of a retaining wall.
This work is anticipated to be complete by Friday, July 17, 2020.
