41st Street Traffic Switch at Western Avenue

Beginning on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, traffic on 41st Street at the Western Avenue intersection will be switched onto the north side of the road to allow crews to begin working on the next phase of construction at 41st Street and Western Avenue.

Traffic on 41st Street and Western Avenue will continue to be reduced to one lane in each direction during the remainder of construction at this intersection. This project is expected to be fully open to traffic by late fall of 2020. Some minor work will continue into the spring of 2021.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

St Andrews Drive and Inverness Drive Construction

Beginning Tuesday, July 7, 2020, concrete pavement repairs will begin at the intersection of St Andrews Drive and Seabrook Circle, and on East Inverness Drive near the intersection of East Greenbrier Place. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained when possible. Expect single lanes of traffic at times during construction.

All work is expected to be completed within one week with favorable weather conditions.

Ninth Street Sidewalk Closure

Beginning on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, the sidewalk and parking spaces on the north side of Ninth Street will be closed between Minnesota Avenue and Main Avenue. Access will be maintained to businesses.

This is the next phase of a project to upgrade the ADA accessible curb ramps and sidewalk in the downtown area. Work at this location is anticipated to be complete in approximately two weeks.
