Lane Closures - Louise Avenue
Beginning on Monday, June 14, 2021, lane closures will take place in the intersection of West 57th Street and Louise Avenue to allow construction crews to perform concrete pavement repairs. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained northbound and westbound with one lane of traffic maintained southbound and eastbound.
Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete within two weeks.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closure – 26th Street
Beginning on Monday, June 14, 2021, the outside westbound lane of East 26th Street between South Grandview Avenue and South Judy Ave will be closed to traffic to allow crews to perform concrete repairs.
Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed within one week.

Lane Closures – Solberg Avenue from 49th Street to 57th Street
Beginning on Monday, June 14, 2021, the City of Sioux Falls Water Reclamation and Street Departments will begin manhole repairs on South Solberg Avenue from 49th Street to 57th Street. Traffic will be maintained, however, reduced to one lane in each direction with daily lane closures from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This work is anticipated to be complete on Friday, June 18, 2021.

Lane Closures - Marion Road
Beginning on Monday, June 14, 2021, South Marion Road from 41st Street to 53rd Street will be reduced to two lanes to allow construction crews to begin work on street improvements. Additionally, Marion Road from 400’ south of 57th Street to Bakker Park Drive will be completely closed to traffic to allow construction crews to begin work on street improvements.
Work will include concrete repairs and new asphalt surfacing. During asphalt milling and paving, traffic will be reduced to one lane. Electronic message boards will be set up to alert traffic to changing traffic patterns and detour routes as the project progresses.
This work is anticipated to be complete in August.
