Lane Closure – West 26th Street

Beginning on Monday, August 2, 2021 the eastbound lane of 26th Street will be closed from Western Avenue to West Avenue to allow crews to perform concrete repairs. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction at all times.

Construction is expected to take approximately two weeks.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closures - Holbrook Avenue at Bluestem Street

Beginning on Monday, August 2, 2021, manhole work will begin on Holbrook Avenue at Bluestem Street.  Traffic will be maintained, but lanes will be narrowed and shifted around the work zone.

This work is expected to be completed by the end of the week.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure – 17th Street

Beginning on Monday, August 2, 2021, West 17th Street will be closed from Menlo Avenue to Walts Avenue to allow construction crews to begin work on street improvements. 

The work will include replacing ADA sidewalk ramps on Menlo Avenue, concrete alley approach replacement, and new asphalt surfacing.

17th Street is expected to reopen to traffic in mid-August.

Lane Closure - Western Avenue

Beginning on Monday, August 2, 2021, the inside southbound lane and center turn lane on Western Avenue will be closed between Madison Street and Second Street to allow construction crews to perform concrete pavement repairs. Southbound traffic will be moved to the outside southbound lane. Two way traffic will be maintained at all times during construction.

All work is expected to be completed within one week with favorable weather conditions.

Lane Closure – 56th Street

Beginning on Monday, August 2, the eastbound right turn lane on North 56th Street will be closed to allow construction crews to perform curb and gutter repairs. Eastbound traffic to Cliff Avenue will be moved to the left turn lane. Two way traffic will be maintained at all times during construction. Southbound traffic on Cliff Avenue will not be affected.

All work is expected to be completed within one week with favorable weather conditions.
