Lane Closure – 26th Street

Beginning in the afternoon on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, the westbound lanes of West 26th Street will be closed between Berkshire Boulevard and Sertoma Avenue for watermain maintenance work.  One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction in the eastbound lanes.

This is the second of five phases of work that will occur on West 26th Street between Sertoma Avenue and Marion Road. Updates will be provided when traffic control is scheduled to change.

This work is anticipated to be complete in late October.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Intersection Closure – 12th Street and Walts Avenue

Beginning on Tuesday September 14, 2021, the intersection of West12th Street &and Walts Avenue will be closed to allow construction crews to perform surfacing work. 

This work is anticipated to be complete in approximately two weeks.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and will want to consider alternate routes.

Parking Lot Closure – Falls Park

Beginning on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, the two northernmost parking lots and north entrance on the west side of Falls Park will be closed.

Contractor will be performing an asphalt mill and overlay.

This work is anticipated to be complete by late September.
