Lane Closure - 41st Street and Sycamore Avenue

Beginning on Monday morning, April 25, 2022, work will begin on the intersection reconstruction of 41st Street and Sycamore Avenue.

One lane of traffic will be maintained in all directions throughout the duration of the project. During the first phase of construction, Sycamore Avenue traffic will be shifted to the west side of the street and 41st Street traffic will be shifted to the south side of the street.

Local business and residential access will be maintained with at least one entrance off 41st Street or Sycamore Avenue.

Lane closures will shift throughout the summer and fall as construction progresses. The project is anticipated to be complete in early November.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure – 69th Street

Beginning on Tuesday morning, April 26, 2022, the outside westbound lane on 69th Street will be closed to the east and west of Ralph Rogers Road to allow crews to perform curb repairs and begin work to install new traffic signal.

The project is expected to be complete late summer 2022.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closures – Sycamore Avenue

Beginning on Thursday April 21, 2022, curb repair work will begin on Sycamore Avenue between 28th Street and 57th Street.

Intermittent lane closures will be setup to shift traffic to the inside lanes of Sycamore Avenue in areas where curb work is taking place. Effort will be made to minimize the length and duration of lane closures to reduce traffic impacts.

Curb repairs are anticipated to be completed in approximately two months. However, additional lane closures and side street closures will follow in later stages of this project to accommodate additional concrete repairs and an asphalt overlay. The overall completion date for the project is early November.
