Veteran’s Memorial Park and Terrace Park Pump Station 215 Construction

Beginning on Thursday, April 21, 2022, sanitary sewer work will start along the northeast side of Veteran’s Park from West Bailey Street to 500 feet to the southeast. Traffic along West Bailey will be open to one lane of traffic in each direction. The entrance to businesses will remain open.

Work in this area is anticipated to be complete by June of 2022.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

North Minnesota Avenue Construction

Beginning on Thursday, April 21, 2022, the southbound turn lane along Russell Street onto Minnesota Avenue will be closed to perform a water main connection. The existing southern eastbound lane along Russell Street will be used as the southbound Minnesota Avenue turn lane.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and will want to consider alternate routes.

Intersection Closures – Tallgrass Avenue and 85th Street

Beginning on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, the intersection of Tallgrass Avenue and 85th Street will be closed to allow construction crews to upgrade utilities. Motorists should utilize Louise Avenue, 69th Street, and 85th Street as alternate routes.

Weather permitting this work is anticipated to be completed within two weeks.
