Lane Closures – 41st Street and Sycamore Avenue

Beginning on Monday morning April 25, 2022, work will begin on the intersection reconstruction of East 41st Street and Sycamore Avenue. One lane of traffic will be maintained in all directions throughout the duration of the project.

During the first phase of construction, Sycamore Avenue traffic will be shifted to the west side of the street and 41st Street traffic will be shifted to the south side of the street.

Local business and residential access will be maintained with at least one entrance off 41st Street or Sycamore Avenue.

Lane closures will shift throughout the summer and fall as construction progresses.

This project is anticipated to be complete in early November.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – Cliff Avenue

Beginning on Monday, April 25, 2022, the southbound outside lane of South Cliff Avenue from 26th Street to 28th Street will be closed to allow crews to perform concrete joint repair, partial depth concrete repair, and curb and gutter repair. Traffic will be maintained in the southbound inside lane.

This work is anticipated to be complete in late May 2022.

Lane Closure – 26th Street

Beginning on Monday, April 25, 2022, the eastbound inside lane of West 26th Street will be closed from the I-29 interchange to Shirley Avenue to allow crews to perform joint resealing operations. Traffic will be maintained in the eastbound outside lane.

Weathering permit, this work is anticipated to be complete in approximately one week.

Street Closure – 69th Street

Beginning on Tuesday morning, April 26, 2022, the outside westbound lane of West 69th Street will be closed to the east and west of Ralph Rogers Road to allow crews to perform curb repairs and begin work to install new traffic signal.

This project is anticipated to be complete late summer 2022.

Street Closure – Theodore Avenue

Beginning on Monday, April 25, 2022, South Theodore Avenue will be closed between 35th Street and Lancaster Street to allow crews to install new drainage structures under Theodore Avenue. 

This work is anticipated to be complete in approximately one month.
