49th Street Construction

 Beginning on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, sidewalk removal will start along the east side of the intersection of 49th Street and Western Avenue. 

Pedestrians for east side traffic will be directed to the west side of Western Avenue at the I-229 and Western Avenue intersection, and at the Western Mall entrance, Western Avenue intersection.

Work is anticipated to be complete with 25 working days.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and will want to consider alternate routes.
