Installation Ceremony for the Mayor and City Councilors on Tuesday, May 17, 2022

The public is invited to Carnegie Town Hall, 235 West Tenth Street, on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 2 p.m. as recently elected officials mark the start of their terms by taking the Oath of Office. Mayor Paul TenHaken and Central District City Council Member Curt Soehl will each begin their second term while City Council Members-Elect Sarah Cole, Rich Merkouris, and David Barranco begin their first term on the City Council. Cole and Merkouris will serve as At-Large City Council Members and Barranco will serve as the Southeast District City Council Member. All were elected at the City Election held last month.

For those unable to attend, the ceremony will be broadcast live on CityLink and web streamed at https://www.siouxfalls.org/council/view-meetings. A reception will be held at the Carnegie Town Hall following the ceremony.
