Street Closure – Williams Avenue & 23rd Street

Beginning on Thursday, June 9, 2022, the intersection of South Williams Avenue & West 23rd Street will be closed to allow construction crews to upgrade the ADA accessible curb ramps. Motorists should utilize West 22nd Street, West 24th Street, South Kiwanis Avenue, and South Garfield Avenue as alternate routes.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete within two weeks.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure – 41st Street

Beginning on Monday, June 13, 2022, West 41st Street will be closed to thru traffic west of South Ellis Road. A detour will be signed, taking traffic north to SD-42 (West 12th Street), west to 466th Avenue, then south to 267th Street (West 41st Street).

Metro Construction will be working on new utilities at South Broek Drive intersection. The work is expected to be complete by June 28, 2022.

Street Closure – Panama Street

Beginning on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, West Panama Street will be closed at South Sertoma Avenue to allow crews to replace the concrete valley gutter.  Residents are encouraged to use South Theodore Avenue as an alternate route to access this neighborhood.

This work is anticipated to be complete in approximately one week.

Lane Closure - Rosemont Lane

Beginning on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, West Rosemont Lane will be closed at West Panama Street to allow crews to replace the concrete valley gutter.  Residents are encouraged to use South Theodore Avenue as an alternate route to access this neighborhood.

This work is anticipated to be complete in approximately one week.
