Lane Closure – 69th Street

Beginning on Monday, June 20, 2022, the outside eastbound lane on East 69th Street will be closed at Inverness Drive, just west of Tomar Road. Traffic control will be pulled and reset daily for commuters.

Short Excavate will be working in the area.

This work is anticipated to be complete in one week.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure – Holbrook Avenue

Beginning on Monday, June 20, 2022, South Holbrook Avenue between 40th street to 37th street will be closed to allow construction crews to replace the watermain.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete within one month.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure – North Drive

Beginning on Monday, June 27, 2022, North North Drive, in front of the state penitentiary, will be closed. A detour will be in place.

Patriot Construction will be working on utilities.

This work is anticipated to be complete in one week.

Lane Closure – Minnesota Avenue

Beginning on Monday, June 27, 2022, the outside northbound lane of South Minnesota Avenue will be closed between 37th Street and 41st Street to allow crews to complete sidewalk improvements.

As part of this work, the outside eastbound left turn lane from 41st Street onto Minnesota Avenue will also be closed.  Southbound traffic will not be impacted at this time.

This work is anticipated to be complete by mid-July.
