Street Closure - 23rd Street

Beginning on Thursday, June 23, 2022, East 23rd Street will be closed west of South Cliff Avenue.

Northwest Corporation will be setting a crane to work on the pumps at the Avera-McKennan pond. The work is expected to be complete by the end of the day with the road opening on Friday, June 24, 2022.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure - Minnesota Avenue

Beginning on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, intermittent lane closures will take place on Minnesota Avenue between 2nd Street and 8th Street from 9am to 4pm daily to allow crews to perform soil borings in advance of a future reconstruction project.

The work is expected to be complete by July 1, 2022.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and will want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure –Cherry Rock Avenue

Beginning on Thursday, June 23, 2022, Cherry Rock Avenue west of Southeastern Avenue will be closed to allow construction crews to perform railroad crossing improvements. Vehicular access to  Cherry Rock Park will not be allowed during construction.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed within one week.
