Help Create the Vision for the Future of Sioux Falls Aquatics!
Online Public Engagement Tool and Public Meeting Opportunities
If swimming and water sports are among your favorite activities, Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation invites you to share your ideas for the future of aquatics in the city.
A comprehensive community engagement process will help create a vision for addressing aging aquatic facilities and providing the best overall experience for pool users. To help engage pool users in the planning process, the City has launched an online public input tool.
All interested stakeholders are encouraged to visit the site and provide their insights for the future of Sioux Falls Aquatics. The public engagement tool offers a series of short surveys and an interactive mapping tool that allows residents to comment directly on maps of the City’s aquatic facilities.
In addition to the online public engagement tool, two public meetings are scheduled tomorrow to introduce the project and gather initial information and ideas. The following sessions will feature a presentation and opportunities for discussion.
- Wednesday, August 31, 4:30 p.m., Kuehn Park Neighborhood Meeting,
Kuehn Community Center, 2801 South Valley View Road - Wednesday, August 31, 6:30 p.m., Frank Olson Park Neighborhood Meeting,
Cleveland Elementary School Gym, 1000 South Edward Drive
The public’s feedback is the first step toward creating community-driven outcomes on which construction will begin in 2024.
