Lane Closure – 41st Street
Beginning on Saturday, September 10, 2022, the outside eastbound lane on West 41st Street will be closed east of Shirley Avenue.
Xcel Energy will be working on a feeder line.
This work is anticipated to be complete before the end of the day.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closures – Sycamore Avenue
Beginning on Monday, September 12, 2022, asphalt resurfacing work will begin on South Sycamore Avenue between 26th Street and 41st Street.
Intermittent lane closures will be setup to shift traffic to allow room for milling and paving equipment. Effort will be made to minimize the length and duration of lane closures and traffic impacts. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction.
This work anticipated to be complete in approximately three weeks.

Lane Closures – 12th Street
Beginning on Monday, September 12, 2022, the outside westbound lane and outside eastbound lane on West 12th Street will be closed between Valley View Road and La Mesa Drive to allow crews to perform concrete pavement repairs.
As work progresses, the lane closures will move to the middle lanes. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times during construction.
Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete within one week.

Recreation Trail Closure – Falls Park Drive to North Drive
Beginning on Monday, September 12, 2022, work will begin on the Sioux Falls Recreation Trail between Falls Park Drive and North Drive.
Work on this section of the trail will include full-depth removal of existing pavement, shaping, repaving, and drainage improvements. A detour will be provided during the duration of the project.
Improvements to this section of trail are anticipated to be complete by October 28, 2022.
Motorists traveling the detour area are urged to be alert for cyclists, pedestrians, children, dogs, and other typical recreation trail users. Motorists should reduce speeds in the detour area and are encouraged to consider alternate routes.

Beginning on Tuesday September 13, 2022, East 61st Street will closed between Graystone Avenue and Sycamore Avenue.
Runge will be working on new utilities.
This work is anticipated to be complete in a week.
