Lane Closures – 57th Street

Beginning on Monday, October 3, 2022, the inside westbound lane and westbound left turn lane on East 57th Street will be closed at the intersection of Southeastern Avenue to allow crews to perform water main and concrete pavement repairs. One lane of westbound traffic will be maintained at all times during construction.     

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete within one week.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure – 60th Street North

Beginning on Monday, October 3, 2022, West 60th Street North will be closed between Minnesota Avenue and Westport Avenue to allow crews to perform concrete pavement repairs. Westbound traffic will be detoured to Russell Street at Minnesota Avenue. Eastbound traffic will be detoured to Russell Street at Westport Avenue.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete within two weeks.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – Minnesota Avenue

Beginning on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, the outside southbound lane of South Minnesota Avenue will be closed between 33rd Street and 41st Street to allow crews to complete sidewalk improvements. 

This work is expected to be complete by late October.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

North Minnesota Avenue Construction

Beginning on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, traffic on North Minnesota Avenue between Second Street and Russell Street will be reduced to one lane at times to allow the contractor to place the mainline concrete pavement along the east side of the street.

There will be a traffic flagger will be on site directing traffic. 

One lane of traffic in each direction will be open by the end of the day.
