Lane Closure – Russell Street
Beginning on Monday, October 10, 2022, the two north westbound lanes and the two south eastbound lanes will be closed along Russell Street between North Kiwanis Avenue and North Louise Avenue to allow construction crews to repair the bridge.
The work is anticipated to be complete in approximately three weeks.
No detour route will be provided during this closure.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closure – 85th Street
Beginning on Monday, October 10, 2022, the outside westbound lane along 85th Street between South Beal Avenue and South Hansen Place will be closed to allow construction crews to install a noise wall.
The work is anticipated to be complete within one week.
No detour route will be provided during this closure.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closure – Louise Avenue
Beginning on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, North Louise Avenue will be reduced to one lane, south of West Mulberry Street. A stop sign will be set up to alternate traffic through the closure.
MidAmerican will be retiring a service line. The work is expected to be complete by the end of the day.

Lane Closure – 6th Street
Beginning on Monday, October 10, 2022, the outside eastbound lane along 6th Street will be closed to traffic at Cleveland Avenue to allow utility work.
This work is anticipated to be complete within approximately one month.

Lane Closure – 51st Street
Beginning on Friday, October 7, 2022, West 51st Street will be reduced to one lane, east of West Avenue. A stop sign will be set up to alternate traffic through the closure.
First Rate will be working to install a new fire line.
This work is anticipated to be complete in a week.

Lane Closures – Minnesota Avenue
Beginning on Saturday, October 8, 2022, both outside lanes on South Minnesota Avenue will be closed north of Ralph Rogers Road.
Hancock will be repairing pipes.
This work is anticipated to be complete by the end of the day October 11, 2022.
