Lane Closure – Sixth Street

Beginning on Monday, December 5, 2022, eastbound East Sixth Street will be closed at North First Avenue. Westbound traffic will remain open. Only westbound will be allowed on the bridge over the Big Sioux River during the week.

Xcel Energy will be working in the area. The work is expected to take two weeks.

Traffic control will be pulled over the weekend to allow traffic in both directions over the bridge.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure – 20th Street

Beginning on Monday, December 5, 2022, East 20th Street will be closed between South Seventh Avenue and South Cliff Avenue.

NorthWest Corporation will be working in the area. The work is expected to be completed in one day.
