Lane Closure – Lewis Avenue

Beginning on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, the southbound lane of Lewis Avenue will be closed at the south leg of its intersection with Benson Road.  Southbound traffic on Lewis Avenue will be shifted into the northbound left turn lane to maintain one lane of traffic in each direction.  Truck traffic will not be able to make an eastbound right turn from Benson Road onto Lewis Avenue and should use Casco Avenue or St. Paul Avenue instead.   

The Contractor will be boring in electrical utility lines and anticipates completion of this work within one week.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
