Temporary Intersection Modifications

Beginning on Monday, April 10, 2023, City Traffic Crews will be installing temporary traffic devices at the intersections of 9th Street and Prairie Avenue and at 9th Street and Duluth Avenue.

The City is conducting a Traffic Calming Pilot Project along 9th Street and will be replicating traffic circles at these intersections to conduct before and after studies to determine their effectiveness.

The work is expected to be complete on the same day.

Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling through the area.

Lane Closure – Cliff Avenue

Beginning Monday, April 10, 2023, the northbound outside lane on North Cliff Avenue will be closed for two blocks, starting at East Second Street.

Carl V Carlson Co. will be working in the area. The work is expected to be complete in three days.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
