Street Closure – 57th Street
Beginning on Monday, April 17, 2023, East 57th Street from Veterans Parkway to Six Mile Road will be closed to through traffic. Access will be to residents only.
This project will consist of grading, utility, and surfacing construction to expand 57th Street to a four-lane paved section from Veterans Parkway to Sparta Avenue.
This work is anticipated to be complete in late October 2023 and reopened to traffic.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closure – Cliff Avenue
Beginning on Monday, April 17, 2023, the northbound outside lane on North Cliff Avenue will be closed between First Street and Second Street.
MJ Electric will be working on Xcel lines in the area.
This work is anticipated to be complete Wednesday afternoon.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closures – 33rd Street and Western Avenue
Beginning on Monday, April 17, 2023, the eastbound through lane on West 33rd Street and the northbound through lane on Western Avenue will be closed to allow crews to perform curb ramp and sidewalk repairs at the intersection. Traffic will be maintained in the turn lanes.
In the upcoming weeks, the location of the lane closures at the intersection will change as the curb ramps and sidewalks are repaired at this intersection. At a minimum, one lane of traffic in each direction will always remain open.
Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed within three weeks.

Lane Closure – Cliff Avenue
Beginning on Thursday, April 20, 2023, the outside southbound lane on South Cliff Avenue will be closed between 10th Street and Fairfax Avenue to allow crews to perform sidewalk repairs. Traffic will be directed to the inside lane.
This work is anticipated to be complete in one week.
